This photograph features Challedon after winning the 1939 Tranter Purse at Keeneland. Spectators and a tree are visible in the background.

Challedon was named American Champion Three-Year-Old Colt in 1939, U.S. Horse of the Year in 1939 and 1940, and American Champion Older Male Horse in 1940. He was retired to stud at Gallaher Farm in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1942.
