The day you were born,
I was there.
My eyes were sparkling
like a shining star.
I wrapped my arms
around your neck.
Your arrival brought me
miraculous joy.

The very moment I saw your white blaze,
I fell in love with you.
You laid down on the straw
at the stable,
as if it was your blanket.

You are mine,
my beautiful foal.
Majestic animal,
whose desire to run freely
through the rolling hills of the farm
brings me immense pride.

You are my little foal,
but act like a stallion.
Your independence
makes me love you even more.
Oh, my beautiful foal!

Let me see you again in the morning.
Allow me to brush you tonight.
In your eyes I see great promise.
You are always in my heart.

In the darkness of my life,
you brighten my soul.
You are a unique foal.
In my dreams I think of you.
You are my purpose
in this world.
