Description
Steinlen (GB), with Jose Santos up, won the 1989 Keeneland Breeders’ Cup Stakes, one of the first turf stakes at the track and now known as the Coolmore Turf Mile Stakes. Keeneland built the first turf course in the state of Kentucky in 1985. Steinlen was named Champion Male Turf Horse in 1989.
