Our Mims was the American Champion Three-Year-Old Filly in 1977, and Davona Dale held the same title in 1979. Calumet Farm owner Lucille Parker Wright Markey is depicted in the stagecoach being pursued by Saron Stable’s trainer Neil Drysdale. Drysdale is riding Bold ‘N Determined, winner of 16 of 20 starts in 1980. Although Davona Dale claimed the Mother Goose Stakes and Coaching Club American Oaks (depicted on the coach in this work) in 1979, Bold ‘N Determined won both races in 1980. </text>
