Peb's caricature/humorist artwork depicts U.S. Racing Hall of Fame horse trainer D. Wayne Lukas with 1987 Keeneland Spinster Stakes entries Sacahuista, Julie the Flapper, and North Sider. Also depicted are former Keeneland presidents William C. “Bill” Greely and James Edward “Ted” Bassett III.
Sacahuista, ridden by Randy Romero, won the 1987 Spinster Stakes with a time of 1:48.60.

Featured racehorse entries for the 1981 stakes race included Love Sign, Heavenly Cause, Truly Bound, Glorious Song, and Expressive Dance. Glorious Song, ridden by Robin Platts, claimed the 1981 Spinster Stakes with a time of 1:49.20.

Peb's caricature/humorist artwork depicts Nick Nicholson, president of the Keeneland Association from 2000 through 2012, and W. Rogers Beasley with the Keeneland Sales “cradle” of 2004.
When Peb created this piece, Beasley had just assumed his new position as Director of Racing, and Geoffrey Russell was the newly named Director of Sales. In the version of this piece printed in the Daily Racing Form, Peb inserted Russell’s caricature over that of Beasley to reflect the recent change of positions.

Azeri (Mike E. Smith up) won the 2004 Apple Blossom Handicap; Madcap Escapade (Rene R. Douglas up) won the Ashland Stakes.

The racehorse entries depicted in this piece include Millenium Wind, Songandaprayer, Hero’s Tribute, Dollar Bill, Monarchos, Congaree, A P Valentine, Crafty Shaw, and Balto Star.
In 2001, Millenium Wind, ridden by Laffit Pincay, Jr., claimed the Blue Grass Stakes; Balto Star, ridden by Mark Guidry, claimed the Arkansas Derby; and Congaree, ridden by Victor Espinoza, claimed the Wood Memorial Stakes.
