This photograph features Hall of Fame racehorse trainer Benjamin Jones on horseback.
He won his first Kentucky Derby with Lawrin in 1938 and was subsequently hired by Calumet Farm in 1939.
Jones trained for Calumet for over 20 years, training legends including Triple Crown winners Whirlaway and Citation. He was the leading money-winning trainer for four years (1941, 1943, 1944, and 1952).
Both Benjamin and his son, Jimmy are in the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame.
