Peb's caricature/humorist artwork depicts racehorse Louis Quatorze on a throne as King Louis XIV, with jockey Pat Day, trainer Nick Zito, and owners William J. Condren and Georgia E. Hofmann.
Louis Quatorze won the 1996 Preakness. Later that year, he won the Jim Dandy Stakes, came in third in the Jockey Club Gold Cup, and came in second in both the Travers Stakes and Breeders’ Cup Classic.

Sacahuista, ridden by Randy Romero, won the 1987 Spinster Stakes with a time of 1:48.60.

Owned by Eugene V. Klein and trained by D. Wayne Lukas, Open Mind won four of her six starts in 1988.
Her eight 1989 wins include the Forward Gal Stakes, Bonnie Miss Stakes, Pimlico Oaks, Kentucky Oaks, Acorn Stakes, Mother Goose Stakes, Coaching Club American Oaks, and the Alabama Stakes.
Open Mind’s Alabama Stakes victory marked her tenth consecutive win.

Peb’s parody of Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Episode I, released in May of 1999, features racehorses Charismatic, Silverbulletday, and Menifee before the 1999 Belmont Stakes and Charismatic’s career-ending injury.
Also depicted are Charismatic’s owners Robert and Beverly Lewis and trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Silverbulletday’s trainer, Bob Baffert, appears behind the filly, and W. Elliot Walden, Menifee’s trainer, is also featured. New York Racing Association’s Kenny Noe, Jr. is depicted holding the Belmont Stakes trophy.
