Schwartz, Chairman of the New York Racing Association, in preparation for the 2001 Blue Grass Stakes, Arkansas Derby, and Wood Memorial Stakes. The racehorse entries depicted in this piece include Millenium Wind, Songandaprayer, Hero’s Tribute, Dollar Bill, Monarchos, Congaree, A P Valentine, Crafty Shaw, and Balto Star.
In 2001, Millenium Wind, ridden by Laffit Pincay, Jr., claimed the Blue Grass Stakes; Balto Star, ridden by Mark Guidry, claimed the Arkansas Derby; and Congaree, ridden by Victor Espinoza, claimed the Wood Memorial Stakes.
