Spectators gather along the hedgerow to view horses in the Walking Ring before a race during the Spring Meet in 1974. By this date, the Grandstand and Clubhouse had been connected into a single building, visible in the background with the pathway for horses to enter the track at center. The original saddling stall building still stands at right, though the stone wall that once enclosed the entire Paddock was removed from behind the Grandstand.
