This photograph, taken in April of 1950 at Calumet Farm, features the American Thoroughbred Faultless.

Faultless (by Bull Lea out of Unerring), foaled in 1944, had a career record of 13-5-6 from 46 starts and earnings of $304,945.

His most successful year was 1947. At age three, Faultless won the Flamingo, Blue Grass, Derby Trial, Withers, and Preakness Stakes.
