This photograph features Hall of Fame racehorse trainer Horatio Luro on horseback circa 1964. Luro, was a native Argentinian, and third generation horseman. His father Adolfo was a founding member of the Argentine Jockey Club.
During Luro’s career of nearly 50 years, he trained many winners including Princequillo and Native Dancer.
