This is a photograph of Battleship at the Fair Hills, Maryland Exhibition in 1938.
Battleship, sired by Man o' War, is the only horse to have won both the American Grand National (1934) and the English Grand National (1938). Battleship retired to Ms. duPont Scott's Montpelier training facility in Virginia after his English Grand National victory.
